We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Group Marketing Manager, Email Performance & Operations. The charter of this role is to drive member and customer growth and engagement through consistent and effective email experiences globally across the LinkedIn Talent Solutions team. The Group Manager will provide email strategy and drive operational excellence leading a team of email performance marketers and agency personnel. Though this person will not be architecting programs or campaigns, they should be comfortable with how data and systems are used to launch effective marketing campaigns and when to make prioritization or resourcing trade-offs.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader in people management, stakeholder management, and email marketing. This person will also be a member of the Email, Performance & Operations leadership team, helping influence overall team culture and driving impact by collaborating across EPO and GPO (Growth, Performance & Operations). We are looking for individuals who have a strong background of proven execution and being able to quickly deliver results with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Email Performance & Operations (EPO) team dedicated to LinkedIn Talent Solutions with compassion and coaching for the transformation of self, and company

  • Contribute to the leadership team for the wider EPO team, helping craft and execute on the team mission

  • Manage a team of 3+ digital marketers, providing inspirational leadership and investing in each member's professional growth

  • Create a vision for the team, inspiring individual contributors, and creating a positive working environment and operating model that maximizes output from the team's efforts

  • Contributes to and owns performance targets across LTS teams and manages team performance to achieve targets and improve channel engagement

  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation, improve processes and deliver effective management and partnership with agencies

  • Deliver marketing growth and scale audience reach through the email channel

  • Deepen customer value through innovative email experiences

  • Ensure quality email production through ownership of onshore and offshore agency resourcing

  • Build and maintain a relationships with key stakeholders and business leaders across LinkedIn

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define the initiatives, processes, and resources needed for marketing to succeed

  • Champion and provide visibility for the team into strategies, priorities and key initiatives for partner teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, growth marketing or a related field

  • Previous management and/or people leadership experience, or equivalent experience

  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent working experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and developing email marketing campaigns that meet business objectives, including but not limited to revenue generation

  • Experience working in SaaS businesses, with B2B and B2C business models

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms or programs

  • Strong leadership skills and creative thinking to develop innovative solutions for top business challenges

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “get it done” entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to inspire, manage, and lead cross-functional teams

  • Experience working cross-functionally with ops, data science, engineering and marketing teams

  • Ability to identify & influence process improvements

  • Vendor and professional service agency management experience

  • Deep knowledge and passion for email marketing

  • Strong performance record in managing successful marketing programs, ideally across the email channel

  • Experience in coordinating email marketing efforts with other channels (such as paid media, owned media and web)

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $144,000 to $224,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
