Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in consumer technology, with a focus on product management and customer success.

  • Experience with developing cohesive experiences across multiple devices and interfaces.

  • Experience driving adoption of technology solutions across distributed environments.

  • Technical AI research experience, specifically application into product development.

  • Experience translating emerging technology into customer value propositions.

  • Experience with the Android ecosystem.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving adoption of novel technology solutions within complex environments and successfully shipping cross-platform apps at scale.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and experience developing products from an early stage.

  • Ability to be an innovative problem solver that can turn ambiguous problem spaces into clear solutions.

  • Ability to be a skilled communicator and leader who can translate capabilities into tangible benefits for users and propel widespread adoption.

  • Interest in the development of technology balancing both bold and responsible approaches.

As the Director of Product Management, Gemini Experience, Android Platform, you will be responsible for developing Gemini’s experience for Pixel devices, Android OEM devices, and the broader Android ecosystem. You will ensure Gemini's UI is simple, intuitive, capable, and familiar across form factors, while elegantly adapting for and integrating into each. You will develop user journeys and features that harness Gemini’s potential in helpful and powerful ways. You will also be responsible for developing a delightful consumer experience that yields measurable improvement in growth and user happiness.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive the outlook and product roadmap for Gemini on Android and Pixel devices.

  • Lead the Gemini strategy, narratives, planning and execution for major annual events including Made by Google, Google I/O, and OEM events, in close partnership with the Android and Pixel teams.

  • Lead the strategy and implementation for deep product partnerships with OEMs, peripherals (e.g., headphones, watches), and the broader Android ecosystem (e.g., Android Auto).

  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, and other Product Management teams to create, drive and deliver an innovative, compelling Gemini user experience.

  • Inspire and grow a talented, high-performing product management team, while helping to lead a large cross-functional team across Engineering, User Experience, Data Science, Marketing, and other functions.
