Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Mount Washington, Kentucky. In this role, you will be a part of a thriving industry, handling tasks such as customer application processing, customer record maintenance, and customer inquiry resolution. This position also entails monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action, offering a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy.

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks including billing and collections.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of accounts payable functions.

• Ensure all financial data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience in billing processes and systems is essential

• Previous experience in collections is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work output

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in Finance or Accounting is a plus

• Experience using accounting software is preferred

• Must have the legal right to work in the location of the job.
