Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in MOUNT WASHINGTON, Kentucky. In this role, you will be expected to handle various duties related to Accounts Payable (AP). This opportunity offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with precision and speed

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records

• Address customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions when required

• Be responsible for managing maternity leave coverages in a hybrid workplace setting

• Ensure continuous improvement in the processing of customer applications

• Sustain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of the role

• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations in the Accounts Payable department

• Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations

• Adhere to company policies and regulations related to Accounts Payable. Requirements • Possesses proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Holds a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

• Has experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance sector

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Shows proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills

• Is able to work independently and as part of a team

• Shows ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Has a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles

• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines

• Shows willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or software as required.
