Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Insurance Referral Coordinator in Mount Vernon, Washington. This role is pivotal within the healthcare industry, where you will be coordinating referral and authorization duties for medical care. The workplace promotes effective cooperation and communication among team members.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately scheduling patients for prescribed referrals

• Assisting patients in navigating through referrals and insurance authorizations

• Answering patient inquiries appropriately, whether in person or via telephone

• Delivering high-quality customer service to patients

• Utilizing various software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, CRM, Dentrix Dental Software, and Eaglesoft to manage tasks

• Handling authorizations and benefit functions

• Administering claims and overseeing billing functions

• Receiving and responding to inbound calls

• Ensuring tasks and competencies specific to the location/department are fulfilled. Requirements • Proficiency in using Allscripts software

• Experience with Cerner Technologies

• Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Familiarity with Dentrix Dental Software

• Knowledge of Eaglesoft software

• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls

• Experience with Authorizations in an insurance setting

• Understanding of Benefit Functions within an insurance framework

• Knowledge of Billing Functions pertinent to insurance

• Experience in Claim Administration within an insurance context TalentMatch®
