Job Description: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and parts while ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.

Duties: Performs some or all of the following:

1. Installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting to identify problems and offer logical solutions, and repairing industrial electrical equipment and associated controls.
2. Ensuring compliance with electrical safety codes and regulations and observance of safety procedures.
3. Interpreting blueprint information and schematics. Use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical components and explain machine specifications to other department members.
4. Working as a team member or alone to complete projects.
5. Making decisions based on technical documents and circuits from prints.
6. Performing quality testing and inspections.
7. Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and perform repairs on them when necessary.

Education: High school diploma or GED. Some college/vocational or technical training preferred.

Credentials: Current Ohio Electrical License preferred.

• Must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
• Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
