• Consult sketches, notes, schematics, guides, and other documentation to create detailed, 3-D BIM drawings of corporate products.
• Produce Autodesk models and drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems by collaborating with Project Managers, production staff (engineers and consultants), and other professionals under the direction of a Team Leader.
• Follow established standards in regards modeling, and other aspects of Autodesk usage.
• Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
• Perform Navisworks clash detection simulations and resolve clashes through collaborating with Project Managers, Staff Engineers, and other professionals.
• Edit, rework, and update drawing files as required by product changes, modifications, additions, and so on.
• Where necessary, install, configure, and initiate Autodesk software.
• Populate and maintain BIM information repository database.
• Create families, blocks, parameters, and related BIM Components
• Update standard details and templates.
• Proofread and correct documentation errors.
• Migrate projects to newer versions of REVIT applications when necessary.
• Pr ovide document management and archiving of models and drawing files.
• Set up and update models or drawings and provide quality control and review of product.
• Export and transfer files to clients .
• Other duties as assigned.

[[Education/Experience]{arial=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}

• Associates degree in Building Information Modeling, or equivalent years of experience.
• 2 years equivalent work experience working with Autodesk products directly related to the production or support of construction documents in the Mechanical Electrical Plumbing industry.
• Knowledge of Autodesk software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Knowledge of architectural drafting standards, as well as blueprint and specification reading skills.
