Customer Service Representative- position OPEN

We are looking to hire a full time veterinary receptionist.

Traits: We are looking for someone who's friendly, reliable, hardworking, organized and a team player. Great customer service is a must. Our ideal candidate is also empathetic and caring. 

Description/Hours: Full time position available. Final schedule will be 4- 10 hour days with exact hours and days to be determined. We are open 6 days a week and open late 2 days a week so some weekends and evenings may be required.  

Wage: Starting wage is $18.10/hr

Duties: Include but are not limited too; Greeting and welcoming clients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments using our computer software, overall client care, requesting and sending records, maintaining confidentiality and documentation of client records, issuing invoices, overseeing the sale of items, receiving payments and informing the veterinarian of any emergencies requiring urgent attention.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma/GED required. Must be able to safely lift 30 pounds, have basic math, reading, spelling and writing skills. Intermediate computer proficiency, capacity to work well during distressing situations, and excellent time management and multitasking abilities are important. Previous customer service experience, veterinary experience and being bilingual is a plus.
