rrPosition Summary:

r This non-tenure track, clinical assistant professor is responsible for teaching and mentoring WWAMI medical students throughout the 18-month curriculum and under the guidance of the Clinical Medicine Department Head.

Under the direction of the Clinical Medicine Department Head, teaching responsibilities may include:

Clinical Skills education and assessment

Hospital tutorials

Documentation assessment (H&P\'s, SOAP notes, etc.)

Mentoring of students over their four-year program

Other responsibilities may include:

Faculty Development

Student Interest Group Advising

Assisting with student orientation

Didactic Lectures

Electives

Other duties and tasks as assigned.

rrMinimum Qualifications:

r

• A terminal degree (M.D., D.O., or equivalent) in a disciplinary relevant to healthcare and medical education
• A terminal degree (M.D., D.O., or equivalent)
• Board certified or Board eligible
• Active State of Idaho or Washington Physician and Surgeon Medical License or ability to obtain by hire date
• Ongoing clinical practice

• Experience teaching medical and/or other health professional students.
