rrPosition Summary:

rThis position is responsible for securing and managing gifts, and collaborating with other Foundation team members to ensure that private support is directed to the appropriate unit or program at the University of Idaho. The incumbent will work collaboratively with Foundation leadership to manage aspects of the endowment portfolio and gift administration. The position develops policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with meeting reporting requirements. The incumbent will work effectively with University Foundation personnel to ensure the appropriate stewardship of the Foundation\'s assets and the donors who provide them. The position oversees, manages and supervises gift operations, maintaining and monitoring effective internal controls to ensure accurate recording and receipting of gifts.

Duties may include:

  • Manage activities of endowment and gift administration regarding gift agreements, gift operations, processing and reporting in compliance with CASE guidelines, Foundation and University policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper designation of gifts to endowments and current use funds
  • Write and edit gift use agreements that meet legal standards and comply with Foundation and University policy
  • Assist in communication of gift policies and procedures and the training of university stakeholders
  • Participate in events or meetings related to Foundation, Advancement, or other University activities
  • Other duties as assigned

rrMinimum Qualifications:

r

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

{=html} <!-- --> - Four years of progressively responsible financial or business operations support experience - Bachelor\'s Degree may substitute for two years of experience - Managing and administrating database systems and operations - Composing, proofing and editing a variety of business documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials

rrPreferred Qualifications:

r

  • Work experience in higher education or a Foundation
  • Experience using a Constituent Relations Management (CRM) relational database or other integrated computer systems
  • Knowledge of endowments, grants and gift proposals, estate gifts, data processing applications, endowment and estate gift administration
  • Analyzing information from a variety of sources, identifying problems, defining alternatives and developing recommendations
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner
  • Interpreting and evaluating policy and procedural requirements
  • Serving as a liaison between internal and external entities and individuals in the coordination of activities and resolution of issues
