rrPosition Summary:

rReporting to the Assistive Technology Specialist, the Alternative Text Assistant plays an integral role in providing students with documented disabilities reasonable accommodations as required by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Alternative Text Assistant is responsible for providing course readings for students with an alternative text accommodation, including PDF, Word, Braille, and print formats.

rrMinimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree; four years of experience in text accessibility may substitute for a Bachelors Degree
