As a Design Engineer, you will support the team in product development, improvement, and customisation of Resideo water products. The area of responsibility includes product and part design in compliance with legal and internal company specifications.

We seek a candidate with 3D mechanical design experience within a manufacture. You will be a team player with a meticulous way of working and attention to detail.

JOB DUTIES:

• Conception, development, and design in the field of drinking water fittings

• Specification of test plans and optimisation based on test results

• Monitoring of existing products, testing and implementation of change requests Qualification of components and products

• Supporting product management in the development of product documentation

• Compliance with standards and drinking water guidelines

• Preparation of design drawings

• Calculating the dimensions of parts and assemblies

• Preparation of parts lists for series production

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Mechanical design 3D CAD skills, preferably PTC Creo, but other CAD design packages are also fine (CAD training will be provided)

• PDM & ERP basic knowledge

• Good knowledge of MS Office

• Proficiency in written and spoken English

• Willingness to make decisions

• Goal- and solution-orientated work

• Team player with good communication skills, high flexibility, personal responsibility and willingness to innovate

WE VALUE:

• Basic knowledge of fittings

• Knowledge in the design of mechanical products and technologies of injection moulding, casting, forming and punching is an advantage

• Basic knowledge in the field of certification of drinking water products desirable

• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, fluid mechanics, measurement and control technology an advantage
