Business Operations Manager
Scope : To lead and assist in our relentless pursuit of efficiency and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Drive engagement and full and proper usage of existing systems and tools
Deploy new processes to our operational teams in our relentless pursuit of efficiency
Collaborate with other districts, regional, and global resources to build consistency in all processes
Contribute to a global operational standard to create and protect the pursuit of a best in class operation
Take direction from Regional Manager, Business Operations (RVP Region)
Coordinate with local management to identify opportunities to improve quality, service, compliance, and profitability through the pursuit of efficiency and consistency
Identify and prioritize problem areas within business operations through communication with operational staff and via [observation, process mapping, timing studies, and other] process analysis methods
Provide training for every employee in the art and application of the fundamentals of business process, through both teaching and mentoring
Monitor key performance indicators and other metrics to promote behaviors and processes while working towards closing the performance gap between districts
Be involved and have knowledge and understanding in customer and external ISO Audits
Lead and ensure progress on corrective and preventative actions within your district
Work alongside the Regional Solutions Team to deliver reporting and automation to the field
Present improved data and analytics for internal business opportunities and external client value
Support the deployment and improvement of Global Business Operations strategy and efforts
IS Manager
Scope: This role is responsible for leveraging strong technical knowledge to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s business by maintaining the different technologies and systems that form the IS Infrastructure. Additionally, the role is responsible for providing applications support and process automation (scripting), responding quickly to service interruptions and service requests to maintain operations efficiency.
Responsibilities
Execute Regular IS Basic Tasks to keep the systems up & running
Ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures
Train branch management on system architecture, data management, retention and reporting, and other available IT tools to improve processes, productivity and customer service
Basic Branch Technical Support such PC, LAN, Expeditors Software and systems administration & troubleshooting, in addition to global, regional and branch project implementation
On call for after-hours IS issues
Asset Management such as purchasing, shipping, tracking and maintenance
Prepare and execute the annual tactical business plan for IS department
Provide technical assistance to clients
Use of helpdesk software to manage support queue and projects
Understanding of Process Fundamentals
High technical aptitude, including experience with Microsoft Office applications
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Effective project management skills
Effective interpersonal skills, with ability to relate to employees at all levels
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, etc.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong logistics industry knowledge (preferred but not mandatory)
Lean/Six Sigma, BPM Certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience with any object oriented programming language (Visual Basic, Python, Java, SQL) (preferred but not mandatory)
Basic PC troubleshooting, maintenance and deployment skills
Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN)
Mobile device troubleshooting (iOS/Android)
Printer/copier troubleshooting and maintenance skills
