We are in search of an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing transactional representation and business counseling to a diverse range of clients. This role falls within the corporate department and is a permanent position.

Role 2: Junior Transactional Associate

Location: Morristown, NJ

Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in/2 days remote

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000

Responsibilities:

• Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, including purchase agreements, leases, and service agreements.

• Performing due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions, including reviewing financial documents, contracts, and compliance with laws.

• Participating in the closing process for transactions, which may involve coordinating with various stakeholders and preparing closing documents.

• Conducting legal research to support client matters and keep updated on changes in corporate law and regulations.

• Conducting due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, which includes reviewing financial documents, contracts, and corporate records to identify potential risks.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Ideally 1-4 years' experience in corporate law, BUT will consider a litigator wanting to go into corporate

• Particular about getting someone whose resume demonstrates high grey matter (top tier schools or very high achievement at second tier schools)

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Good negotiation skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in document preparation and analysis.

• Strong work ethic
