Westmor is seeking a detail-oriented Paint Prep Technician to join our team. You will ensure surfaces are prepped for painting, maintain equipment, and keep the work area organized. Key Responsibilities A Paint Prep Technician is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Surface Preparation: Sand with an air sander, apply sand poly and primer, verify removal of spatter and slag, and apply filler.
• Measurement and Documentation: Measure and record pre and post sand dry mill thickness using measurement devices, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance on paint prep equipment, clean paint booth and lights, change filters, and organize the paint prep area.
• Safety and Operation: Identify and mask areas not to be painted, operate tugger, lifts, and other machinery safely, and wear proper safety equipment.
• Coordination and Organization: Coordinate workflow and maintain a clean, organized paint prep area.

Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday & 6:00am to 12:00pm, Friday Employee Benefits
