This position supports Enterprise project execution by procuring required materials and equipment efficiently and effectively in accordance with all applicable Enterprise policies and procedures. This role is hybrid in Morris, IL.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in procurement, material control, contract auditing

• Must be able to demonstrate good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access), Windows, SAP and Primavera. Must be able to demonstrate good analytical and decision-making skills.

• Proficient in SAP (preferred) and Ariba (Preferred)

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form.

• Problem solver

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Monitor purchase requisition (PR) queues for assigned sites and process approved and released PRs timely

• Process Purchase Orders in SAP in line with all LYB Policies, Standards, Procedures and Rules

• Manage life-cycle of assigned PO lines from creation to closure (cradle to grave), and resolve any issues that arise

• Support, as assigned, with RFP, RFQs and other sourcing initiatives

• Negotiate commercial aspects of contracts (PO Terms & Conditions) with suppliers

• Review proposals and make recommendations on vendor selection to provide material and services, in line with LYB Policies, Standards, Procedures and Rules

• Ensure all change orders are properly documented and processed

• Expedite material and services as required by stakeholders to ensure continuity of operations

• Purchases volume up to $20 million
