ST MARY PARISH COMMUNICATIONS DISTRICT 9-1-1 911 Communications Assistant Director in Morgan City, Louisiana

The assistant director/addressing coordinator is responsible for collecting, coordinating, filing and maintaining all data collected for use by the E9-1-1 system.

Training database assistant in all aspects of addressing coordination.

Assigning duties to database assistant and reviewing all data system entries.

Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of all information and data regarding any and all aspects of the E9-1-1 systems operation both printed and digital format.

Responsible for requests made by the general public regarding municipal numbering and the subsequent dissemination of accurate data.

Responsible for maintenance of accuracy of the E 9-1-1 mapping information.

Responsible for corrective measures required pertaining to public safety answering point (PSAP) inquiry reports and filing of said reports.

Responsible for attending all district board meetings and acting in the capacity of minute clerk for the board prior to, during and preceding said meetings and report to the district director.

Responsible for attending meetings as a representative of the district during and after normal business hours if requested and report to the district director.

Responsible for general office duties including clerical duties and maintenance of office supply inventory and report to the district director.

Must supervise all call center supervisors, including training and scheduling.

Review and approve all personnel actions taken by supervisors, including disciplinary.

Evaluate all supervisors on a bi-yearly basis and implement any disciplinary actions

required.

Responsible for the collection and coordination of all data required necessary for the daily operations of the E9-1-1 system. He/she is responsible for all data existing and collected for the district. He/she is responsible for duties assigned by the district director.

Responsible for field work data collection including, but not limited to:

  • Street measurement and range collections and information research.
  • Structural survey/evaluation.
  • Door to door data collections.
  • Follow up post evaluation reporting.

Responsible for the accuracy of data collected, the in-house coordination of collected data, and the preparation and dissemination of data collected for the purpose of new addresses and/or address changes.
