Job Title: Master Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• Leads and performs maintenance of facilities and equipment to maximize Operations performance

• Prioritizes and coordinates work assignments for Senior Maintenance Technicians/Maintenance Technicians to ensure critical work assignments are completed correctly and on a timely basis

• Coaches Senior Maintenance Technicians/Maintenance Technicians through orientation, training, establishment of objectives, communication of good maintenance practices

• Directs, schedules and performs: preventative maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material-handling equipment, preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on high-tech automated equipment

• Directs and uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)-generated preventive maintenance worksheets to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practices

Job Duties

Technicians will be in charge of equipment such as:

• Mechanical and electrical equipment and components

• 3 phase motors, 480v

• Integrated Systems with PLCs

• Allen Bradley PLCs (old and new ones) troubleshooting and repair using PLC on the following equipment:

• High Speed Automated Sorting machines

• VFDs, Photo Eyes, Sensors

• Robotic equipment

• Gantry cranes

• 30 miles of conveyors, 4 sorters, 12 cranes

• PLC PM programs, update on computer status using TMI Systems. (software)

Hard Skills

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks

• Experience with minor mechanical repairs

• Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

• Knowledge in maintaining high-tech automated equipment

• Su-Thurs 10pm - 6:30am

• Su-Th 5am - 2:30pm

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Moreno Valley, California.

Work Environment

This role requires hands-on maintenance work within a distribution center environment. The position is a critical step towards supervisory or managerial roles, offering a dynamic work setting with a focus on safety and efficiency.
