Robert Half Technology is in search for a Network Engineer/Administrator for a leading managed service provider (MSP) located in the Valley dedicated to delivering top-tier IT solutions to a diverse range of clients. As a Network Engineer/Administrator you will play a critical role in managing, maintaining, and enhancing the network infrastructure for our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of network systems, providing technical support, and implementing new network solutions to meet our clients' evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Manage and support network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.

• Provide technical support and assistance to clients, resolving network-related issues promptly.

• Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and new installations.

• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

  Requirements

Network Engineer/Administrator Requirements:

• Cisco CCNP required (routing/switching) / CCNA

• Traditional CISCO & Meraki environment experience

• 5+ years minimum

• LAN/WAN necessary iOS familiarity

• A strong working knowledge of technologies surrounding a network infrastructure

• Experience working with VMware virtual environments, specifically networking

• Strong experience in working with firewalls

• Self-starters with a good work ethic, the ability to work independently or as a team and a desire to come up with the best solutions for our clients

• Commitment to achieve additional vendor specific certifications

• Experience with wireless access points and controllers

• Great customer service skills
