Covert Op LLC, d/b/a Legends Sports Bar & Grill (803 Belsly BLVD, #100, Moorhead, MN 56560, and Murphy's Pub, 808 30th AVE S, Moorhead, MN 56560)), email: covertopllcmn@gmail.com, seeks 20 seasonal Kitchen team members (cook, short order) Oct 1 2024 June 30 2025 for full-time temporary employment. Responsible for food prep and general kitchen sanitation. Resp for maintaining a clean cooking and working area, incl but not limited to dishbay when scheduled dishwasher is not on premises. Prep work for Full Bar Menu, catering menu, and special events. Plating of individual customer orders as well as buffet style and plated style meals for large groups. Must maintain company standards of food quality and presentation. Follow company rules, regulations and Core (Kindness, Communication, Timeliness, Positive Attitudes & Personal Mental Health Awareness). Training course provided by employer for safety in the kitchen to ensure highest level of sanitation and food handling. Team member will monitor inventory, receive incoming orders and rotate stock. Required to maintain personal hygiene in accordance with state regulations. Employer will provide on-the-job training and employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform job. General work schedule includes shifts Mon- Sun, 4am midnight. Work will be performed at 803 Belsly Blvd, #100, Moorhead, MN 56560 (Clay County) and 808 30th AVE S, Moorhead, MN 56560 (Clay County). Transportation provided. Workers will be paid no less than $15.66 per hour. Overtime hours may vary and and if applicable, will be paid at no less than $23.49 per hour. Employer will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages. Workers will be paid bi-weekly on Fridays. Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law. Workers offered option of shared housing accommodations with deduction from pay of $250/month. This Job Order is being filed in conjunction with filing Form ETA 9142, Application for Temporary Employment Certification, for H-2B workers, with the U.S. Dept. of Labor. Workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or reimburse worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts.
