Concordia College Business Manager in Moorhead, Minnesota

Job Summary/Basic Function: The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise and manage all aspects of the office for Dining Service including Accounts Payable and Receivable, meal plan contracts, campus card office, cash and credit transactions, department timekeeping and payroll, computer systems, compilation of financial data necessary for departmental evaluation, and customer service in accordance with the College and department policies. 1. Support the mission and vision of Concordia College and demonstrate the competencies as defined for this position. 2. Office management 50% Supervise office staff team with functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, menu management and inventory controls, campus card office, meal plan management, financial accounting for Dining Services, and technology systems used to support these functions. Foster an office environment which supports and facilitates reaching departmental goals, creativity, and productivity. Ensure a high level of customer service for students, families, Catering and Contract Services clients, and other customers virtually and in person. Oversee and advise on use of software programs relating to Dining Services. 3. Data Management 30% Manage and process timekeeping and payroll for regular and student staff. Compile departmental financial data and extract relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project financial outcomes. 4. General Office Duties 10% 5. Perform Management Responsibilities 10% -Supervise unit operations and employees on weekends and evenings when needed. -Participate in various meetings and long-range planning. -Serve on campus committees as assigned.
