BCI is seeking to fill one (1) full-time Logistician, Intermediate position to be involved with US Navy surface ship or submarine logistics. The job locations may be in Philadelphia, PA, or Moorestown, NJ, in support of Philadelphia Division, Naval Sea Systems Command, Philadelphia (NSWC PD).Job Location: Moorestown, NJTelework: available after 6 months with supervisor permissionJob Start Date: within 2 weeks of hiringShift: Days - 8 hours flexible - 40 hours per weekExperience Required:Individuals need to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, trade school diploma or industrial school diploma. Experience must include the following: Minimum three (3) years' experience of the Naval Logistics System that includes experience in reviewing and analyzing Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), maintenance plans, applying technical coding, including Source Maintenance and Recoverability (SM&R) codes and creating Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) in Interactive Computer-Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) C/S to develop and/or update Allowance Parts Lists (APLs). Experience in the following databases is preferred: CITIS, NSEDR, ICAPS, CDMD-OA, MBPS, WebFLIS, PIEE, NAVSUP One Touch Support, FedMall (PIEE), Remedy, Deckplate.Description of Duties:Provide mid-level engineering, technical, and logistics support in support of fleet maintenance philosophies to identify and resolve material condition discrepancies; resolve obsolescence issues and logistics discrepancies; resolve high visibility parts availability and long lead time material issues; provide Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) tracking support and provide support for the update and maintenance of configuration data for upload to the Weapons System File. These services are required in support of the construction, overhaul, modernization, and repair of shipboard hull, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as life- cycle maintenance of other U.S. Navy systems and associated life-cycle logistics support documentation. The successful candidate will develop, review, update, and maintain complete sup0ply support documentation; and shall be responsible for analyzing various forms of Technical Data Packages (TDP) / Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), maintenance plans, engineering drawings, reliability data, level of repair, and scheduled maintenance data in support of the supply support / provisioning process preference.
