Eaton Corporation Division Lead Financial Analyst in Moon Township, Pennsylvania

Eaton’s Power Components Division (PCD) is currently seeking a Division Lead Financial Analyst to support the rapidly growing demand for our electrical products. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office/2 days remote) based in Moon Township, PA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91,500 - $134,200 a year.

What you’ll do:

As a Division Lead Financial Analyst, you will report directly to our Division Finance Manager and support the PCD division with financial planning & analysis, and commercial & operational finance initiatives. You will specialize in analyzing financial data and providing insights related to the operations primarily supporting our Connected Products business in Moon Township, PA and our Horseheads, NY Vacuum Interrupter plant. This role would include an estimated 15-20% travel to our Horseheads, NY plant. You will work closely with both the finance and plant operations teams to support decision-making and optimize financial performance within the operational functions.

Key responsibilities of the Division Lead Financial Analyst include:

• Financial Analysis and Performance Reporting: prepare regular financial reports and performance updates for the operations team and management, highlighting key financial metrics and variances to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate for each plant functions to develop action plans, strategies and initiatives needed to achieve the expected targets.

• Operations Finance: Partner with plant finance managers and division leadership to achieve financial results through financial analysis, SCM variances/commodities, costing and productivity.

• Process Improvement: Collaborate with operations teams to identify inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities that can lead to improved results.

• Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.

• Supporting initiatives (including CAPEX- and WORKING CAPITAL) and influence changes: evaluate proposals for productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality, and supply chain management.

• Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the operations and support mitigation strategies.

• Inventory Management: Support inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash.

• Forecasting: Support the main financial processes for the operational sites and the Power Components Division.

• Financial Modeling: Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.

• Cost Accounting: Analyze and interpret financial data related to the costs incurred by a company during its operations with the primary objective to provide valuable insights to management, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance.

• Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans.

• Finance Transformation: Support the finance and plant leadership teams through finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • At least 3 years of varied accounting/finance and FP&A experience

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Moon Township, PA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience working for a manufacturing company

  • Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills
