Lead Teacher for Before and After School Program at Lewis Palmer Elementary School

Hours/Locations:

This is a part-time position Monday-Friday, before after school hours Hours are Split Shift, Mon-Fri. 6:30am-8:45am and 3:45pm-6:00pm

School Location: Lewis Palmer Elementary School at 1315 Lake Woodmoor Dr. Monument, CO 80132

Pay: $20-$24 per hour depending on experience

The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teach and educate children according to approved Leading Edge curriculum standards
• Ensure program(s) are running to Leading Edge and state licensing standards
• Ensure administrative functions are current to include state licensing related requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a best-in-class customer service focus
• Meet with school administration to ensure program(s) are running efficiently
• Ensuring state ratios are adhered to
• Communication with parents and families on a consistent basis
• Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Highly detail-oriented and organized in work
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Onboard and train new employees
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• All staff must complete state required background checks
• Must be available during all program hours (split shift)
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have 3 months (460 hr) of verifiable experience
