Your responsibilities encompass process development, tool design, machine programming, machinery & equipment acquisition, manufacturing layout, continuous improvement, and various engineering support functions for productio Key Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise to implement New Product Introduction (NPI) projects related to CNC screw manufacturing. Provide technical expertise to identify and implement continuous improvements in manufacturing operations, including the development of processes, research into emerging technologies, and assessment of process quality, cost, capacity, and capability enhancements. Support manufacturing areas in meeting quality standards, compliance documentation, capacity requirements, product availability, and cost targets. Offer technical support for equipment design and development, material testing, specification preparation, process studies, investigations, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and report/presentation creation. Engage in assignments that promote the development of professional skills, utilizing standard engineering techniques, project management, statistical analysis, data presentation, and technical writing.

Engineering Duties and Responsibilities: Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, managing smaller cross-functional teams or technically less complex projects. Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and objectives, track costs, prepare status reports, conduct meetings, and communicate progress to management. Lead and participate in investigations and execute plans to resolve process issues, including nonconformances (NC), complaint investigations, audit observations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Provide day-to-day support and guidance to production processes (e.g., turning, milling, drilling, EDM, finishing, packaging, etc.) as needed. Author and execute engineering studies and process validation protocols and prepare summary reports (e.g., Installation Qualification, Operation Qualification, Performance Qualification, Computer Software Validation, and Test Method Validation). Identify and implement process improvements for existing manufacturing processes using established engineering principles and strategies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Perform gage design, measurement system analysis, and gage implementation as required. Utilize various measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, comparators, tensile testers, coordinate measurement systems, etc., to support engineering testing. Develop fixtures and design tools, effectively collaborating with tool designers to bring ideas to fruition. Support new equipment acquisition efforts, including user requirement specifications, machine selection, installation, validation, employee training, and other related equipment responsibilities as necessary. Develop and implement manufacturing and inspection procedures. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams involving Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Product Development. Act as a liaison with vendors for contracted products, tools, fixtures, and their manufacture. Perform other related duties as equired. Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Professional Experience Requirements: 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering. Previous experience in a regulated industry, such as Medical Devices, is preferred. Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification or 2 years of relevant experience is preferred. Proficient in written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Minitab, and databases. Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a results-oriented approach. Effective interpersonal skills and professionalism in interactions with colleagues. Strong troubleshooting skills. Other Requirements: Willingness to support global projects, including some travel. Flexibility to support all production shifts.
