ManpowerGroup Workers Compensation Billing Expert in Montvale, New Jersey

Our client, in Spring Valley is seeking a Workers' Compensation Medical Biller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous medical billing including Workers' Compensation with knowledge of ICD 10 which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Workers' Compensation Medical Biller

Location: Spring Valley, NY

Pay Range: $25+/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Understanding Workers' Compensation Regulation by staying current on regulations and guidelines.

  • Verify and collect all necessary information related to injured worker, including insurance details employer information, and accident details

  • Prepare and submit workers' compensation insurance claims to appropriate insurance carriers

  • Assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses, procedures and services related to worker's compensation cases

  • Monitor the status of claims and follow up with insurance carriers to facilitate timely reimbursement

  • Track and process payment received.

  • Handle claim denials and submit appeals

  • Generate and analyze reports related to billing, claim status, reimbursement and denial reasons.

What’s Needed?

  • Previous experience as a Medical Biller

  • Expert knowledge of Workers' Compensation Medical Billing

  • Proficiency with ICD 10
