    About the "Department"

  • The Finance department at Montrose Regional Health does accounting and reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash receipts, cash management and investments . The department is also responsible for the issuance of debt for capital projects, purchasing, and budget preparation.

    About The Career:

  • The Vice President of Finance, in providing advisement and support to the Chief Financial Officer; establishes, implements, and maintains the financial operations of the organization, including fiscal controls, preparation, and interpretation of financial reports, safeguarding of the organization's assets, ensures efficient and accurate revenue cycle processes, oversees managed care contracting and optimizes finance related information technology. Develops and maintains overall accounting policies and controls, establishes, and maintains good corporate relations with third party payers and the investment and banking communities, assists in long-range planning and advises the CFO on financial affairs.

    All About You :

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Master's degree is strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years financial management experience in a hospital setting.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of total experience in healthcare finance, required.

  • Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in a senior-level finance position in a healthcare organization, required.

  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience within a finance control position, within a healthcare organization, and demonstrated knowledge and experience with revenue cycle operations within a healthcare organization, required.
