Technicien principal – Sécurité 

Nous sommes présentement à la recherche de plusieurs techniciens détenant une expérience variable pour se joindre à notre équipe à l’appui de plusieurs projets d’envergure. 

RESPONSABILITÉS: 

• Installer et entretenir des infrastructures et des dispositifs de câblage pour les données,l’audiovisuel et la surveillance vidéo; comprend le pré-câblage, l’installation, la terminaison, l’étiquetage, les essais et la production de rapports selon les spécifications et les dessins

• Installer le rangement du câblage et cameras de surveillances.

• Installation de systèmes d’accès. 

• Interagir avec les clients, en veillant à ce que toutes les demandes soient traitées de manière professionnelle

• Adhérer aux programmes de qualité et sécurité de Paladin

• Compléter la documentation détaillée et précise, y compris les vérifications SST, les bordereaux d’expédition, les listes de contrôle, les mesures de construction, les résultats des essais

• Fournir un service à la clientèle de niveau élevé en tout temps

• Maintenir un haut niveau de professionnalisme

• Les déplacements et les heures supplémentaires peuvent être demandés avec ce poste sur une base ad hoc

• Effectuer des tâches supplémentaires au besoin

• Vous pouvez être amené à être « sur appel » avant ou après vos heures de travail habituelles et/ou un jour où vous n'étiez pas censé travailler.

• Vous pouvez être amené à travailler le « quart de nuit », si nécessaire, en fonction des exigences du projet ou du service. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expérience en traction, terminaison et essais de câbles Cat. 5/6 

• Carte CCQ (Compagnon ou apprenti ) 

• Éducation postsecondaire en électricité, télécommunications, électronique ou équivalent est considérée comme un atout

• Flexibilité pour travailler dans une variété d’environnements, des chantiers de construction aux bureaux d’entreprise finis

• Expérience avec la configuration de base de système d’exploitation Kantech,  Lenel, Genetec Avigilon etc

• Doit être capable de soulever plus de 50 livres 

• Permis de conduire valide avec un historique dans les règles et sans restrictions

• Doit être cautionnable et capable de passer une vérification d'antécédents

Senior Technician – Security

We are currently looking for several Technicians of varying experience to join our team in support of several major projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data and Audio Visual and CCTV;  includes pre-wiring, installation, termination, labeling, testing and reporting per specifications and drawings

• Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms

• Interact with customers and prospects, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally

• Adhere to Paladin’s Quality and Safety programs

• Complete detailed and accurate documentation, including OHS checks, packing slips, checklists, as-builts, test results

• Consistently provide high levels of customer service

• Maintain a high level of professionalism

• Travel and overtime may be requested with this position on an ad hoc basis

• Perform additional duties as required

• You may be required to be “on-call” before or after your regularly scheduled hours, and/or on a day when you are not regularly scheduled to work

• You may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience pulling, terminating, and testing cat5/6 cables 

• • CCQ card (Journeyman or apprentice) 

• Flexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices

• Comfortable working at heights

• Must be able to lift upwards of 50 pounds 

• Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract and no restrictions

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail

• Must be bondable and able to pass a background check

• Strong problem-solving skills
