We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager with expertise in PLSQL, Oracle technologies, and a strong understanding of data management principles. The ideal candidate will lead our product strategy and development efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, project management, and strategic thinking to drive successful product outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Development:
Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy based on market trends and business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize PLSQL functions and triggers to develop robust database solutions.
Perform query tuning and manage Oracle-related tasks, including sequence management on multiple nodes, Oracle views, and data table creation and normalization.
Apply knowledge of XML for data interchange and integration.
System Design and Architecture:
Design service definitions and user interfaces using Oracle User Forms.
Create and maintain UML diagrams and sequence/object diagrams to illustrate system architecture and workflows.
Asset Management:
- Oversee asset management processes to ensure optimal utilization and lifecycle management of products.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX compliance) during product development and implementation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to gather feedback, deliver updates, and manage expectations.
Shell Scripting (Good to Have):
- Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role within a technology environment.
Strong knowledge of PLSQL and experience with Oracle databases.
Familiarity with XML and its applications in data management.
Experience with asset management and security compliance initiatives.
Proficiency in creating and interpreting UML diagrams and other technical documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with shell scripting and automation of database processes.
Understanding of additional Oracle concepts and data management best practices.
The base salary range for this position is $91,457 - $137,186, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
