Kadiak LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Chiropractor Technician to support Kadiak and our government customer at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience within the past three (3) years in medical administration or front desk duties

  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Workers by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Ability to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently

  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation, Criminal History Background Check (CHBC)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare treatment areas for incoming patients

  2. Administer specialized supportive physiotherapy treatments, including:

  3. Ultrasound

  4. Electrotherapy

  5. Therapeutic hot/cold applications

  6. Therapeutic exercise programs

  7. Instruct and supervise patient exercise programs

  8. Report unusual patient treatment responses or hazardous/malfunctioning equipment to supervisor

  9. Document patient information in the electronic health record, including:

  10. Patient history

  11. Reported subjective symptoms

  12. Care interventions provided

  13. Response to interventions

  14. Observations

  15. Patient education

  16. Perform clerical duties such as:

  17. Taking inventory

  18. Ordering supplies

  19. Answering telephones

  20. Taking messages

  21. Filling out forms

  22. Scheduling patients

  23. Staffing the reception area

Work Environment:

  • Military Treatment Facility (MTF)

  • Supporting chiropractic care under supervision

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must be Up to date on immunizations

  • Annual Flu immunizations are required

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
