Eaton Corporation Business Development Manager in Montbonnot Saint Martin, France

Eaton Electric is currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Critical Power Solution Business Unit in EMEA region.

This role is reporting to the Head of Business Development CPR and Datacenters.

The role is opened remotely for the following countries: France, Germany, Spain or Italy.

Travel rate is fluctuating between 25% and 50% of the working time to the above mentioned countries, depending on business needs.

What you’ll do:

Acts as Business Development Manager steering growth for 3ph UPS product lines and specific options in Germany, France, Iberia and Africa

  1. Pro-actively initiate and execute PQED CPS business development actions within CSO´s in the area.

  2. Establish framework of cooperation with local country organizations (monthly reviews, scorecard, etc.)

  3. Drive the increase of sales organization’s product & application knowledge by support, identifying training needs and transferring knowledge from more mature countries.

  4. Drive effective product launches in the area.

  5. Function as a Voice of the Customer channel when defining New products as part of NPD ProLaunch process.

  6. Manage and support local sales organizations in choosing the optimal local product portfolio out of the total PQD product range to support the selected products strategy and positioning.

  7. Consolidate local market input including local competitive landscape, pricing information as well general market trends and sharers the input with the specified audience.

  8. Partners with PQED Product Managers and ensures they stay in close contact with markets and customers.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and/or Business, or relevant knowledge; MBA is a plus

  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales, business development or other relevant role

Skills:

  • Good understating on requirements for electrical equipment in low voltage applications

  • Demonstrates at least basic knowledge on power electronics

  • Ability to take initiatives and drive them autonomously, strongly customer-oriented

  • Ability to think and act strategically
