Annual Salary Range: $66,096 - $104,082

*Job Summary*
As an Advanced Quality Program Analyst at BPMI, you will analyze and measure the effectiveness of the company's quality programs in accordance with NAVSEA direction and industry standards and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements. As a subject matter expert in ISO Standards, quality management systems, and practices such as benchmarking, statistical process control, continuous improvement, and quality audits. You will be responsible for recommending business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost.
*Essential Duties:*
- Manage a Quality Management System (QMS) which includes quality programs in accordance with Naval Reactors Prime Contractor Quality Specification (PCQS) and applicable industry standards.
- Work on problems of moderate to diverse scope where analysis of situations and data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Assess internal and external data streams, including customer responses to technical recommendations, to detect nascent potential quality issues that should be investigated and addressed, and recommend actions to teams and to management.
- Ensure that company Quality Management Systems remain in compliance with PCQS, working with internal audit planning, the QPDS administrator, and OI and PD owners.
- Participate with the government and other program entities in PCQS updates.
- Communicate audit team progress and concerns to management.
- Present training regarding quality importance and processes, and problem-solving to new employees. Develop and present similar training as a refresher for experienced employees.
- Provide quality-based oversight to company evaluation and control systems, working with management, the company metrics lead, and individual department metrics leads.
- Mentor and assist the company Cause and Corrective Action Program lead in conducting effective introspection and problem-solving.
- Actively lead, support, and mentor Process Improvement (PI) teams in the continuing execution of new and existing introspective projects or programs measuring and supporting improvement of the quality of BPMI processes, products, and recommendations to the government using Lean principles, DMAIC methodology, and metrics.
- Assist BPMI departments in analyzing metrics.
- Mentor Green Belt candidates and newly certified Green Belts.
- Remain conversant with and apply applicable industry quality trends; drive continuous improvement culture throughout the company through mentorship and team results.

*Minimum Job Requirements:*
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or related field from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience. An advanced degree may be considered in lieu of some year(s) of experience.
- Requires a security clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is required.
*Preferred Job Requirements:*
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis interpretation, and reasoning). • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Formal Project Management training, and/or PMP certification and/or project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience and/or training in PI tools and change management systems. • Ability to facilitate teams either in-person or virtually. • Certified or desire to obtain Lean-Six Sigma training and/or Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification. • Willingness to participate in ancillary efforts such as Ethics Committee membership. • ASQ certification at any level. • Motivation for continuous learning. • Desire to obtain Cause-Mapping experience.
