Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Warehouse Systems- GA is looking for a Material Handler to add to our team. An ideal candidate will focus on safety, be a team player, and find ways to be improve efficiency and safety.

• Enforces all company safety policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe shipping operations.

• Unload materials and finished goods from incoming trucks and stack them in assigned areas

• Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment

• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies

• Transport raw materials to production workstations

• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs

• Other Duties as Assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• 6 months forklift experience

• Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date

• Ability to stand for eight hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior manufacturing experience.

• 2-3 years of Forklift Operating Experience
