Payroll Manager

Job Description:

Job Purpose:

As the Payroll Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing payroll operations for India and various APAC countries, ensuring adherence to global processes, managing audits, and driving continuous process improvements. You will collaborate closely with the Global Payroll Manager, lead international payroll projects, and contribute to strategic global initiatives.

What you'll do

• Manage payroll operations including post payroll processes

• Adherence to global processes

• Management of audits partnering with the internal Assurance team and external auditors

• Ensure governance model is embedded and process documentation is recorded and maintained

• Management of key controls, completion with documentary evidence

• Drive process improvements and enhancements in line with the future developments in Payroll

• In depth experience of country payroll legislation, pay, tax and benefits

• Global payroll responsibilities, using GlobalView and Celergo

• Lead and manage global payroll projects

• Assist in the implementation of incident management/business continuity plans for the payroll function.

Key Responsibilities:

What we are looking for

• India / APAC country payroll experience.

• Use of data analytics including excel, automation products, Power BI.

• Leadership and team management experience would be advantageous but not essential.

• Stakeholder, vendor and partner management – building and maintaining strong relationships.

• Organisation, planning, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and problem solving, skills.

• Performance Management experience desirable although not essential.

Technical / professional qualifications:

• Experience with ADP products and/or SAP Payroll highly desirable.

• Experience with time and attendance systems and ticketing system (Service Now) desirable.

• Agile working style with the ability to pick up new tasks.

• 5 years + working within multiple country payroll role.

• Proficient in written and verbal English Language.

• Additional languages desirable.
