Summary This LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST position is located in the Plans and Integration Section of the Deployment and Distribution light, Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group, at an ANG Aviation Wing and is part of the CA 129 RQW. Responsibilities THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-11, is to implement policy programs and procedures utilizing automated/non automated systems for the accurate control of Wing Logistics planning in support of Aerospace Expeditionary Force/Wing (AEF/AEW) Operations around the world. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance. Requirements Conditions of Employment CALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the California National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Qualifications LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by the following: Experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations; Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan; Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan; Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions.
