JOB DUTIES

Follow a regular schedule to clean a restaurant during the day. Start the shift by cleaning outside. Spray degreaser on any grease in the parking lot, sidewalks, or dumpster area. If needed scrub areas and rinse off degreaser with hose. Hose down the sidewalks and parking lot. Collect any empty cardboard boxes and trash bags from the back door and throw into dumpster. Dumpster lid is 60 inches above the ground. Pick up any trash in the parking lot or around the building and sweep the sidewalks. Clean outside tables, windows and doors and menu board. Clean out cigarette urns. Sweep and clean out the entryways. Clean interior public areas of restaurant. Put water in the mop bucket. Clean and sanitize the bathroom and bathroom fixtures. Sweep and mop the floors, scrub the sinks and toilets, and wash the walls/doors. In the dining area sweep and mop the floors. Clean the tables, chairs, benches, and trash containers. Remove gum from tables, chairs and benches. Clean interior windows and doors. Restock condiments, utensils and napkins. Empty interior trash containers and throw trash bags into dumpster. When the restaurant is busy may help assemble food orders or to refill food containers for the serving line.

QUALIFICATIONS

Attention to detail. Follow oral and written instructions. Work independently. Work as part of a team.
