Job Description:

We are responsible for the deployment of network services both in US and Canada. We are supporting various Lines of Businesses namely Canadian Retail branches, US AMCB Retail branches, Campus/Back Offices, ATMs, Wealth Management, TDI, and Commercial Banking Centres.

We are engaged in delivering major projects to deliver better user experience to various stakeholders.

We are collaborating closely with network engineering and architecture department for new infrastructure projects.

We modernize technical landscape at TD to adapt to the needs of numerous businesses.

We are developing deployment plans for roll-out of projects, implementation plans, lab testing, and writing technical documentation.

We are interfacing with various 3rd party vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Bell, IBM, Fitzpatrick, Verizon, to name a few.

Depth & Scope:

  • Works independently in a senior/lead role on a diverse range of tasks and may be relied upon to coach/ educate others

  • Subject matter expert and consults with clients, team, and/or project team to provide technical guidance and highly complex troubleshooting/problem resolution

  • Leads the support of highly complex and/or comprehensive applications/systems and/or business lines

  • Identifies root causes and implements targeted and controlled remediation plans

  • Installs, configures, upgrades, and administers business applications/systems in co-ordination with appropriate stakeholders

  • Reviews, participates and implements procedures

  • Researches industry standards, best practices and new innovations in technology and makes recommendations

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate

  • 5+ years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aruba SDWAN EdgeConnect/Silverpeak deployment experience.

  • Must have profound knowledge of routing and switching.

  • Must have technical certification, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.

  • Experience in SDWAN is a must.

  • Knowledge of Cisco DNAC is desired.

  • Experience as a subject matter expert and consultant who provides technical guidance and highly complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.

  • Readiness to support highly complex and comprehensive applications, systems, and business lines.

  • Adeptness at identifying root causes and can implement targeted and controlled remediation plans.

  • Able to work at night and occasional weekends.

  • Ability to review, participate in and implement procedures."
