The Canada Change Management team provides change management strategy, execution and consultative support services for unit-wide transformational change and high impact efforts. We are looking for an innovative individual with exceptional problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach, who is passionate about playing a key role in supporting Edward Jones Canada's strategic journey.

This role requires a high degree of strategic thinking, planning, organizing, driving results, and adapting to change. You will build trusted relationships with Senior Leaders and with those responsible to execute in support of transformative change. At Edward Jones, you are expected to have a tremendous impact in transforming our client experience, but also take a leading role in shaping the organization's future.

A Senior Change Strategist is responsible for developing and executing change management strategies for the Canada Business Unit's most complex and highest risk change management needs. This includes leading end-to-end change management strategies and execution for the Canada priorities that are critical to achieving our business outcomes.

  • Design and lead the end-to-end change management strategy and delivery on the Canada Business Unit's highest risk, highest complexity efforts. Must be able to strategically focus on multiple initiatives and/or stakeholders concurrently and lead independently with minimal supervision. May also support Enterprise-wide change efforts as they impact Canada.

  • Understand the experience of our stakeholders, and identify the mindset and behavior shifts necessary to achieve our firm and business unit outcomes. Leverage data, insights, and behavioral science to develop multi-faceted, highly creative and impactful strategies that align and integrate other capabilities.

  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the business initiative and leverage strategic consultation skills to coach, advise and influence strategic decisions of senior business leaders on people-related change strategies and change risk mitigation approaches. Use effective communication, diagnostic, and facilitation skills to build relationships, influence outcomes, and gain mutual agreement with others.

  • Matrixed leadership of cross-functional teams supporting complex change management efforts. This can include associate to senior leaders that contribute to change management efforts. Drive results through others to translate strategy into execution, holding others accountable to initiative timelines and objectives and providing feedback, mentorship and coaching to matrix team members.

  • Apply strategic and systems thinking to identify and address change interdependencies, risks, issues, and opportunities related to other changes underway within the Canada Business Unit (and at times, the firm), taking a firm mindset and partnering with matrix teams to ensure we are packaging, timing, and sequencing the right experience for branch and home office teams.

  • Understand the key results needed to meet business outcomes. Partner with analytics teams and others to transform data into information and knowledge that enables business stakeholders.

  • Partner with other enabling functions to plan and deliver a seamless, value-driven experience for our internal partners. Lead through ambiguity, demonstrating ability to proactively drive for clarity and gain alignment across business stakeholders and delivery capabilities.

  • Strengthen Canada Change Management team's impact and value by recommending and driving improvements to our operational efficiency and strategic relationships, updates to internal change management processes, tools, and services to reflect industry "best-in-class" practices, and new intellectual capital.
