Zebra Technologies is seeking a candidate with extensive Python, SQL, and Salesforce.com experience in order to build and produce complex reports to meet business management requirements. This includes managing highly complex configurations, setups, and application updates.

Must have a strong understanding of, and experience with a sales compensation process, and have worked on agile teams.

This is a remote role in Canada and must be able to work with Central time zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer.

  • Builds and produces complex reports using query and flexible reporting tools to meet the requirements of business management and staff.

  • Leads cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issue.

  • Oversees the development of enterprisewide applications associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of data for internal department planning and activities.

  • Develops mission critical process flows and solutions for business problems.

  • Oversees highly complex issues and applying advance root cause analysis.

  • Acts as the subject matter expert on applicable IT systems/applications.

  • Collaborates closely with Sales, Finance, Customer MDM and other departments to align compensation strategies with Zebra's business goals.

  • Manages highly complex configuration, setup, and updating of application, including table definitions and access control.

  • Oversees validity of data entered into established tables, fields and system databases.

  • Manages extension designs and tailored solutions required for aligning packaged applications for business scenarios.

  • Manages implementation of changes in applications development, maintenance and system standards.

  • Oversees system upgrades including planning and scheduling, coordination and deploying.

  • Oversees availability and performance of systems and application environments through proactive as well as reactive analysis and maintenance.

  • Provides support during annual planning and budgeting processes.

  • May manage set up and managing user access and training users on application.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Computer Science or related STEM degree) required.

  • Minimum 12 years of experience. Candidates with 7+ years of experience will be considered if they have combined experience with ServiceNow administration, development, and/or Product Ownership along with relevant experience in IT operations and/or delivery

  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, integration, and analysis. Proficiency in SQL and Oracle queries required.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com (or similar tools) for debugging errors and building solutions required.

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with compensation management software, particularly Xactly required.

  • Strong understanding of, and experience with, the sales compensation process including territory design, quota setting, commission plan calculation and plan performance measures required.

  • Agile methology experience required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Fuzzy Logic to map sales data and maintain data integrity.

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery integration and maintenance.

  • Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.

  • Subject matter expert with technical applications solutions.

  • Ability to design highly complex structure and business scenarios.

  • Demonstrated ability to strategize IT solutions.

  • Ability to lead teams collaboratively internally and externally (i.e. with vendors).

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to identify and manage process improvements

  • Familiarity with Zebra’s products, solutions, and market positioning is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with Jira to facilitate Agile project lifecycle.

  • Highly experienced in effectively providing direction to manage in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage end user issues.

  • Experience with oversight over strategy of documentation processes.
