Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for a Producer (Part-Time Casual) to help us grow the Rogers Sports & Media brand and connect with our multicultural, diverse and wide audience and team partners through personalized communications and activities.

TSC’s blend of Retail, Television and eCommerce create a unique and engaging working environment. Our ideal candidate will engage the audience by delivering compelling, informative, and relevant content on multiple platforms.

What you will do:

  • Manage the execution of live and pre-recorded shows including show development, planning and execution.

  • Work collaboratively with control room and studio crew on show execution including handling last-minute changes and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

  • Collaborate with Vendor, Brand Spokesperson, Show Hosts and Directors to deliver engaging and informative content to drive sales.

  • Regularly liaise with Liaise with other producers, the merchandising team and planners on a regular basis

  • Ensure all shows align with TSC standards and guidelines.

  • Monitor sales data and viewer feedback to continually improve and adapt the on-air presentation.

  • Conduct debriefs with Hosts, Guests and Crew and prepare post-show reports to assess performance, determine challenges and identify areas for improvement.

  • Work variable shifts on an on-call basis.

What you will bring:

  • Degree/Diploma in Broadcasting, Communications or a related field.

  • Proven experience producing live programming.

  • Fluent in the digital content space with an ability to identify trending stories on social media and how TSC can leverage their brands.

  • Must lead by example, manage and maintain harmony among the staff while ensuring the continued development of the team.

  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced, deadline-driven team environment.
