As a Channel Marketing Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team based in Mississauga and reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager. As a key member of Channel Team, you will be the responsible for leading the growth of your portfolio. This role will assume responsibilities for pricing strategies, promotional strategies, forecasting, asset management and customer relations. This individual must have well rounded business skill-set to direct growth initiatives in these categories over the next several years and a keen insight to the Canadian market.

  • Developandimplement (3) Year Strategic Plan,lineplans,linereviews,channelandaccount specificbusinessplans to drivesalesandprofitable growth.

  • Customizetheexecutionof national promotional strategies (brand,product,customerexperience)

  • Managesrelationshipswithinternalandexternal creativeteams,agenciesandvendors to developintegratedcustom communicationmaterials.

  • Financial measurement / tracking forBusinessreviews.

  • Marketing Management includingSAP SKU structuring, forecasting,asset management,servicelevelanalysis and Canadian derivativemodelexecution.

  • Key point ofcontact withUS and GlobalMarketing Teams.

  • Co-develop innovative productlaunchplans withUS and Canadian Marketing and SalesTeams.

  • Co-ordinatepromotionalproductlaunches(bonus packs/merchandisers).

  • Educatesalesand customers onemerging trends and howsolutions are appliedtomaximizebenefit.

  • Provideproductknowledgeto SalesForceandin key account presentations.

  • Communicatemarketing activities to otherdepartmentson a regularbasisto ensureintegrationandsupport forprograms and initiatives.

Who You are

  • CollegeorUniversitygraduate,preferablywithBusinessorMarketing background

  • Minimum 3-5years' experience as a sales and/or marketing professional,demonstrating increasing levels ofresponsibility

  • Experiencewithcampaign & promotiondevelopment & execution

  • Workedcloselysupporting salesin a similarrolewouldbe an asset

  • Strongproduct knowledge would be an asset

  • Demonstratedproject managementexperience

  • Strongcommunicationskills - verbalandwritten

  • Stronganalytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellentpresentationskills in multipleformats

  • Strongcomputerskills including Microsoft OfficeSuite (key focus in Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI)

  • Creative thinkerwiththeabilitytoprovidesolutionsthat meet thecustomerneeds

  • Detail-orientedwiththeability to work independentlyorcollaboratively as part of a team
