Amergis is seeking qualified Direct Support Professionals to support at multiple locations in South Orange County, CA! These individuals should have a compassionate understanding of providing Daily Living Assistance to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities.

Location: Mission Viejo, CA

Facility: Residential Care

Schedule: Part Time or Full Time (7a-3p or 3p-11p)

Pay: $20-$22 / hr

Requirements:

BLS Certification

Caregiving or Direct Support experience with individuals suffering from IDD

Responsibilities:

The Direct Support Professional - DSP/Caregiver is responsible for providing direct support, positive direction, and assistance to the individuals we support of all ages, allowing them to be more effective in their everyday life.

• Helping residents with dining, mobility, health, and hygiene activities.

• Accompanying individuals while running errands.

• Attending special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events.

• Assisting our individuals in achieving their personal goals and desires.
