Job Title:Training Specialist

Job Summary:ScriptPro Training Specialists are a group of talented individuals who play an integral role in leading in person and virtual training sessions as well as go-live support to our pharmacy customers as they implement ScriptPro systems. This is a road warrior position that requires extensive, multi-day travel to a wide variety of locations.

ScriptPro develops, sells, and supports state of the art products and services for healthcare system customers including federal agencies such as the Department of Defense, VA, Indian Health Services as well as multiple major hospital systems around the country. These customers require certain security clearances and health related tests and vaccines in order to gain access to their locations. To support ScriptPro customers and as a condition of employment, you will be required to gain federal security clearance and/or prove certain health related tests and vaccines such as but not limited to tuberculosis, annual flu, and COVID vaccines. Federal security clearance (See the Standard Form 86 link below) can include additional background checks such as but not limited to credit history and drug testing.

If your role requires this type of security clearance and/or proof of tests/vaccines, you will be required to complete these items. Proof of the COVID vaccine will be required post job offer. Reports to:Manager, Field Training

Work Schedule:Full-time traveling position. Hours will vary. Ability to travel on weekends is required. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.

Scope of the Role:

  • Travel to domestic and international pharmacy locations to train staff to use ScriptPro systems.
  • Provide go-live support to the pharmacy staff through the first few days of a system implementation.
  • Observe pharmacy workflow and provide suggestions to maximize system use and productivity.
  • Effectively communicate information while acting as a liaison between ScriptPro and the customer.
  • Facilitate virtual training sessions on a variety of ScriptPro products.
  • Build valuable working relationships across all ScriptPro departments.
  • Become a system expert for ScriptPro products and an efficiency expert for how a pharmacy operates.
  • Represent ScriptPro and the Field Training team in a professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Interest in widespread, multi-day travel up to 85% (please note, travel may fall over all or part of a weekend).
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to obtain Department of Defense security clearance, postdate of hire. See Standard Form 86 to preview requirements.

Attributes Desired:

  • Fundamental understanding of the principles of presentation and how to engage learners.
  • Experience with virtual training platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Skype.
  • Talent for rapidly learning new skills and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with learners while continuously representing the company in a professional manner. Maturity and integrity are a must.
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as superior time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively, and work independently an as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn and solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions, and maintain focused attention during extended periods of travel time are also required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Fluency in a language other than English (Spanish and French speakers highly sought!).
  • Experience in the educational and/or pharmacy field is a plus.

Working Conditions:

This is a very active position that requires standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching. Motor coordination skills and the ability to push/pull and lift independently are also required. Motor coordination skills are required. This position is regularly exposed to vibrations, may work near moving mechanical parts and equipment, may be exposed to electrical shock and the noise level may be loud. This job includes specific vision abilities including close, distance, and color. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions. Focused attention during extended periods of travel time.
