Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This position is a multi-craft maintenance role. You will be responsible for maintenance and repair on over 30 CNC machining centers. The role involves approximately 70% reactive maintenance and 30% preventive maintenance (PMs). Many reactive maintenance tasks arise from operator errors affecting the machines. The machines use various control software (Mitsubishi, Unitronics, Fanuc), which you should ideally learn to troubleshoot.

You will perform maintenance and repair on hydraulic and pneumatic components, spindles, pallet changes, vacuums, band saws, relays, pumps, sensors, prox switches, and motors. Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is beneficial but not required. When not engaged in reactive maintenance, you will work on a project list that may include over 100 different tasks. Your primary responsibility is to ensure machines operate at peak efficiency to maximize production output.

Key responsibilities include replacing hydraulic lines, understanding the mechanics of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, swapping out hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders, and replacing various types of bearings (e.g., ball screws, radial bearings, ball bearings, pillow block bearings), and motors.
