Robert Half Facilities Assistant in Miramar, Florida

Description We are in need of a Facilities Assistant based in Miramar, Florida. This role encompasses managing vendors and maintaining the functionality of temporary AC units within our premises, as well as other duties related to the upkeep of the site. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage vendors visiting the site and ensure their duties are performed effectively

• Operate temporary AC units, including turning them on and off as required

• Lift and empty water bins related to the operation of temporary AC units

• Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance tasks

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and Outlook, for administrative tasks and communication

• Help coordinate the setup of conference rooms and other facilities

• Assist in construction-related tasks as necessary

• Provide excellent customer service in responding to inquiries and resolving issues

• Document all tasks and activities accurately for future reference

• Draw upon your facilities coordinator skills to ensure the efficient functioning of the site. Requirements • Proficiency in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

• Experience in a Facilities Coordinator role or similar

• Knowledge and understanding of construction principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Familiarity with the 'About Time' software

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to manage and coordinate conference rooms

• Proficient in documentation processes and procedures

• Strong understanding and experience with Management Systems

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle physical requirements of the job including lifting, moving, or carrying items as necessary.
