Westwood Professional Services, Inc.is seeking a Project Assistant (PA) for the Renewables Division to join our team in our Minneapolis, MN office. The PA is responsible for ensuring data integrity, document management, and implementing best practices on projects. In this role, you will support the success of projects in the Land Surveying team providing administrative and professional support to Project Managers (Survey Leads), and Land Survey Managers. Project support may be billable projects or non-billable projects with opportunities for project management training and development available. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain accurate data within the Deltek Vision database system, including project set up, reporting, and auditing. Collaborate with Corporate Services and Survey Leads to provide support with contracts, proposals, and invoicing. Coordinate production of proposals based on direction from Survey Leads. Track project performance using different tools and project reports based on direction from Survey Leads. Complete process for completing work orders, task orders, and statements of qualification including tracking all compliance items, coordinating various parties involved and finalizing signatures. Provide document backup for invoicing and collections. Responsible for organizing project stakeholder and survey leadership meetings, document meeting proceedings and follow up on action items. Provide administrative support to the National Survey Leader. Support the land survey training initiatives. Support Professional staff with licensure efforts and state compliance requirements Perform tasks such as transmittals, printing, and scanning. Required Skills Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent job-related experiences and training. Effective written communication is necessary and past experience with the renewable energy industry or land surveying is a plus Adapt to ever-changing work environments Detail orientated and strong organizational skills Capacity to independently manage multiple projects/assignments, determine and set job priorities, and work with limited/direct supervision Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
