Unarmed Security Officer Duties: Maintain a visible security presence to deter and prevent incidents Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of assigned areas Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance cameras Respond to security breaches, disturbances, and emergencies Conduct access control and verify identification credentials Write detailed incident and daily activity reports Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts Assist in emergency situations (fire, medical, evacuation) Armed Security Officer Duties (Includes All Above Plus): Carry and operate a firearm per company policies and state regulations Provide armed protection for high-risk locations, individuals, and assets Maintain firearm proficiency and adhere to all safety protocols Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate use of force Work in collaboration with local law enforcement when necessary
