Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist high net worth clients in the full range of wealth preservation and estate planning.

• Develop comprehensive plans including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, beneficiary designations etc.

• Collaborate closely with clients, accountants, and financial advisors to design an optimized estate plan in line with the client's goals.

• Provide consistent advice and consultation on matters related to trust planning, charitable giving, and wealth preservation with the objective to grow and protect assets.

• Effectively communicate complex legal matters to clients while being sensitive to their needs.

• Stay abreast of current estate laws, tax alterations, and relevant regulations affecting estate planning.

• Maintain full discretion and confidentiality of sensitive information.

  Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice in Minnesota

• Considerable experience in estate planning for high net worth individuals.

• Extensive knowledge of estate tax laws, trust, and probate administration.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to address and prioritize multiple client needs and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a client service-oriented approach.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Preferred candidates will have a transportable book of business and are willing to build and maintain client relationships
