Sun Country Airlines Training Coordinator- Temporary Short-Term (1 year) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description This is a temporary short term positions is anticipated to last 1 year. Job Summary: The Pilot Training Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and scheduling of Pilot related training. This position will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that the training of crewmembers is done in an efficient and in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies. Job Description Essential Functions: Coordinate the scheduling of all pilot training (Excluding ground training) system wide to include, simulator training (New hires, upgrades, return to work pilots, and recurrent), Operating Experience (OE), and FAA observations Manage irregular operations in coordination with Crew Scheduling relating to training activity Ensure all required training events and records are completed in a timely manner Process all travel requests for any pilot training Ensure flight training events and assignments adhere to FAA regulations, Company policies, and the collective bargaining agreement Any other duties assigned by management SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY None QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS HS Diploma or GED Highly organized and detail oriented Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in Microsoft Office PREFERRED SKILLS Experience working in a scheduling environment Previous airline experience Data Entry experience WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones photocopiers, filing cabinets.
