Description

Robert Half is partnering with a Law Firm, and sourcing for a Trademark Prosecution Paralegal. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the Intellectual Property Group by assisting with U.S. and international trademark prosecution.

Responsibilities:

• Handle U.S. and International Trademark prosecution processes.

• Manage and understand docket and deadlines.

• Draft and file various Trademark related documents and work product.

• Operate and manage current docket management software.

• Utilize document management system to maintain and organize records.

• Regularly interact with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

• Utilize Foundation IP or similar tools (Pattsy, Anaqua).

• Efficiently use SmartSheets/OneNote for effective task management.

Requirements

• MUST BE LOCAL TO MINNEAPOLIS, DENVER, OR SALT LAKE CITY

• 5+ years of experience in trademark prosecution (Foreign and Domestic prosecution experience)

• Familiarity with the USPTO, Foundation IP, NetDocs, or similar software

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field

• Paralegal certification is preferred
